But I don't believe I accurately do any of that with any regularity. =/

I've never tried the string thingy, Sierra, but I CAN tell you the sex of a baby just by being around the pregnant mother. I've been wrong only once in all the time I've started predicting the baby's sex. I knew 13 women that were pregnant recently and I successfully told ALL 13 what the sex of their babies were. One girl was super pissed at me because she already had 3 boys and she wanted a girl and I kept saying "I'm sorry, but it's a boy." She wanted me to say it was a girl, but I couldn't say that when she was screaming "BOY" in huge waves of energy. I was right, she had a boy and she was devastated. I'm still trying to understand that devastation.

I can't explain how I do it, but honestly it feels like a sense of energy, a feeling or something that I get from the mother. All I can say is that it's a vibe I get and it's rarely wrong.

Great post! I'll try to dream up your daughter's dream guy for her! I've got "Billy" going through my head, so hopefully it'll work. ;-) No promises. =)Gracen Millerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01394835340529761948noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3424388616046602293.post-603832073643425212008-11-25T11:53:00.000-05:002008-11-25T11:53:00.000-05:00Good points Molly. But I love to look up their meanings when I do.

I know, that string test has freaked me out on several occasions. I've come to have high confidence in it now.

Thanks for the comments everyone.Sierra Wolfehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09815380178844582560noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3424388616046602293.post-13132387286779464412008-11-25T01:06:00.000-05:002008-11-25T01:06:00.000-05:00Hey, Sierra! That is really neat about the pin and string test.Sarah Mäkelähttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10239437847082720298noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3424388616046602293.post-83547993605633606062008-11-24T12:30:00.000-05:002008-11-24T12:30:00.000-05:00I believe in them. It was compiled by Lady Stearn Robinson. Excellent book and hits it right on the head 99% of the time.Judith Legerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02997747703670815073noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3424388616046602293.post-58244491585369599432008-11-24T11:09:00.000-05:002008-11-24T11:09:00.000-05:00Just thought of this: How many lives were saved o...Just thought of this: How many lives were saved on 9/11 by unexplained delays? And how many ignored them and went to work anyway? Think about it. Signs are there; you just have to recognize them.Molly Danielshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01488325587798390008noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3424388616046602293.post-63029495835965424242008-11-24T11:07:00.000-05:002008-11-24T11:07:00.000-05:00The only signs I've observed are the ones that kee...The only signs I've observed are the ones that keep me from doing the wrong thing...for instance, I was off to visit an old friend, and 1) The rental car person got lost picking me up; 2) When he did find me, we arrived at the office and couldn't locate the paperwork; 3) I was stopped by road construction, slow traffic, and a stopped train the entire trip, putting me 90 minutes behind schedule. And after I arrived, he was in a bad mood, because HE had run into problems getting away from the office! So instead of a nice, relaxing lunch, we snarled at eachother.

And more recently, last May. I was due in Northern IN for a signing, and hadn't told my hubby about it. He hadn't gone back to work (as I'd counted on!) and wasn't happy when I ended up 'fessing my plans for later in the week. Two days later, my transmission in the van puked, and the day of, my ride had car problems and I ended up apologizing profusely to the store manager, as well as the other author, since I'd set the whole thing up in the first place!

And last year, I was set for another signing; I stopped to get oil to put in the car, and the brakes locked up. Hubby rescued me, and as soon as my window for leaving had closed, the brakes released....and then a friend called, telling me her mother had just died, and could I please come get her?

Sorry this is so long, but I now encourage anyone that if you develop car probs, just remember 'Everything happens for a reason.'Molly Danielshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01488325587798390008noreply@blogger.com
