Supernatural Tribute

Hi, all! It’s Gracen here. Since this week is focused on our favorite Supernatural television shows, I thought I’d post a poem in honor of Supernatural’s finale from last Thursday. *sniffle, sniffle*

Give me some latitude, it’s cheesy and terrible, and I’m still whimpering over Dean going to hell and all. So, I expressed it in this lame poem. Please bear with me. I am not a poet. I dabble in it occasionally, but I’ve never claim to be good at it.

For those Supernatural lovers like me, I figure you’ll get this poem, or at least the gist of it. For those of you who don’t watch Supernatural, sorry…and you’re missing an awesome show too!

SUPERNATURAL TRIBUTE

A crossroad pact meant to save.
All was given for the game.
A one-way ticket to the grave?
Grappled by webs of sin and shame.

Brimstone and despair saturates the air.
Wicked demons exposed by sable eyes.
A hopeless fate, but who’s to care?
“Sammy!” echoes his fear-laced cries.

How long till demons want to play
Slowly Peel the Skin from Dean?
Choices are few, dark side or pray.
Bust Dean out of this hellish scene!

Awww, poor Gracen. You gonna make it hon? I feel for you. I hate waiting too. I'm very impatient.

Good poem. I don't know what you're talking about, I think you did a great job!

Thanks, Sierra, for the kind words. I still think it's total rot though. =)

I was really feeling my pain with Dean in hell and Supernatural off for a 3 months summer hiatus after a six episode hiatus to the writer's strike. Seriously, it felt as if it'd just come back when it was leaving again. =(

I own the DVD's of seasons 1 & 2 and all of season 3 recorded to my DVR, so I got all summer to rewatch them from episode 1. That's almost 60 hours of Supernatural viewing! =)

Truly, I'm obsessed with this show. Maybe that's not too healthy, huh? ;-)

Signing off, the totally obsessed Supernatural fan.

Showed your poem to myoldest son. He says to expect him at your house this summer so he can catch up on episodes missed:)

Hey, Molly! Ask your son if he wants to bring the popcorn or me? LOL!

I watched episode 1 from season 1 yesterday while I worked out on the eliptical. It was tough not shoving eppy 2 in right behind it, but my goal is to watch 1 a day (or at least when I exercise). It's a great exercise motivation technique! =) Gets your heart racing from two different stimulis also. ;-)
